How home visits work
Are house calls more expensive?
Not at all. While we bring modern, individualized care right to your doorstep, our pricing is comparable to—or even lower than—brick-and-mortar clinics. Without the overhead of a facility and staff or corporate backing, we’re able to keep costs down and pass those savings along.
Travel fees are based on mileage and start at just $20 per visit for most of the Sebastian area, and we reduce those fees for three or more cats seen in the same visit.
Lab work and medications are often significantly less expensive. We are very happy to provide a specific estimate. Just call, text, or email!
Do you offer bundles or package deals?
Rather than bundling "deals" filled out with services that often aren't as valuable while omitting ones that would truly serve your cat's health—we focus on consistent value and customized care across the board.
For example, a senior cat wellness visit including a complete physical exam, blood pressure monitoring, and complete labs (CBC, full metabolic panel, thyroid check, urinalysis, and cystatin B check) is under $270 for all of our kitties, all of the time. No coupons. No conditions.
What can be accomplished during a house call visit?
Almost everything you’d expect from a clinic—plus a few advantages you won’t get in one!
We come fully equipped to deliver comprehensive physical exams and diagnostics right inside your home using portable tools (stethoscope, scale, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, thermometer, blood pressure monitor, materials for blood, urine, and other sample collection, and more) and temperature-controlled storage for lab samples, vaccines, and medications.
We also partner with national reference labs to offer everything from routine bloodwork and fecal testing to advanced panels (culture and sensitivity testing, gastrointestinal, endocrine, allergy testing, etc.) when needed.
But what truly sets us apart? We can observe your cat’s natural behavior and mobility in their own space—essential for addressing pain, litter box use, intercat tension around feeding stations, etc. Our recommendations aren’t just a generic handout—they’re practical and tailored to your household. And no carrier is ever required.
What can't be done during a house call?
There are a few things which still require a facility:
Dental care and surgery — we partner with trusted, local clinics for referrals,
Radiographs (X-rays) — but we can coordinate in-home ultrasound when indicated.
